For your information (mostly aimed at postsecondary):

The Democracy Imperative and the Deliberative Democracy Consortium will be hosting a national conference July 8-11, 2009 at the University of New Hampshire.  The conference, titled No Better Time: Promising Opportunities in Deliberative Democracy for Educators and Practitioners.

A number of Learning Exchanges are being planned, and the conference organizers are inviting proposals for additional Learning Exchanges.  Please contact Nancy Thomas (nancy.thomas@unh.edu) and Matt Leighninger (mattleighninger@earthlink.net) with your ideas.
