Hello, my name is Cecilia.  I am doing a research project for an education college course.  I am studying the use of television in the classroom.  Please fill out this short questionnaire: it should not take much of your time at all.  Thank you so much!

Thank you,

Cecilia

  1. What grade do you teach?

  1. How long have you been teaching?

  1. Do you have a television in your classroom?

  1. How often do you use television in your classroom (put in terms of times a day, week, month, or year)?

  1. What do you use the television for in your classroom?

  1. Would you like to use television in your classroom more or less?

  1. Do you believe that television should be used in the classroom?  If so, how often?

  1. What do you believe are the benefits of television in the classroom?

  1. What do you believe are the negative aspects of television in the classroom?

  1. What categories of programs do you believe should be used in the classroom?

  1. How do you show television in the classroom (ex. do you turn out the lights, do you discuss the program, etc.)

  1. What specific programs do you believe are beneficial to your class’ learning?
